Gan Shan Station Continues Sunday Supper Series on August 21st

Chefs Patrick O’Cain and Daniel Heinze join forces for one night only

Asheville, NC (August 9, 2016) – Gan Shan Station is partnering with some of the Southeast’s most renowned chefs for a special Sunday Supper series. The popular east Asian-inspired restaurant, which is typically closed on Sundays, is opening their doors on August 21st as Gan Shan Station’s chef and owner Patrick O’Cain invites Chef Daniel Heinze, formerly of McCrady’s in Charleston, into his kitchen for one night only. Together with Heinze, a previous mentor to O’Cain, the two chefs will treat guests to a three-course family-style menu from which you choose one dish from each course featuring the freshest ingredients from Asheville area purveyors including Paper Crane Farms and The Culinary Gardener, among others. Oskar Blues Brewery of Brevard will provide a specially-curated pairings list showcasing local flavors. The cost is $45 per person (plus tax, gratuity and beverages) and reservations are accepted, but not necessary. The ongoing chef series will continue to feature prominent chefs from around the Southeast – additional dates to be announced soon.
