Friday September 2nd, from 6:30-8:30 pm
There are too much Martin Scorsese to cover in one tribute — an adventurous and innovative cinema auteur; a knowledgeable film historian; a leader in film preservation; a winner of Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes and the AFI’s Life Achievement Award; a documentarian.

Scorsese has produced groundbreaking work in movies, television — even Broadway. And, frequently, he has been an actor in his own films and those of others.

Scorsese has rock ‘n’ roll cred, too. He served as editor on Woodstock and directed remarkable documentaries and concert films featuring Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, George Harrison and the Band, among others.

Most important, there’s a filmography that includes masterpiece after masterpiece – Mean Streets, Raging Bull, The King of Comedy, The Last Temptation of Christ, Goodfellas, Casino, Hugo and many more.

Join author and film historian Frank Thompson on Friday September 2nd, from 6:30-8:30 pm, as Thompson shows clips and interview footage and looks deep into the remarkable career of one of the cinema’s greatest and most influential directors.  Enjoy the discussion, and be entertained by the films!
