Rapid River Arts & Culture Magazine is the largest and oldest arts publication in Western North Carolina having been founded in March of 1997. We are highly recognized for our journalistic aproach to the fine and performing arts here in the mountains. Our articles examine themes in art as well as the art industry which is one of the largest industries in Western North Carolina

Our articles explore the history of the area and we profile artists both well-established and new. Our departments deal with dining, health, galleries, performances, wine for the wine connoisseur, books reviews of local authors and new authors, up-coming events, and movies currently showing in Asheville, NC.
